Illustrations
The sagas are richly illustrated with nearly one hundred and fifty color images. The majority of characters in these graphics were created with ZBrush and Adobe Fuse. Most landscapes were produced with E-On Vue, and final compositing was done with Adobe Photoshop. Many assets were obtained from TurboSquid and modified to fit the illustrations. Images for The Hatchling Saga were produced using standard digital technics enhanced by AI (ChatGPT by OpenAI).
Norwegian Ny Form trolls served as models for the trolls. Four of the human characters were modeled after my family—a Viking ship-chief (Captain Rikr) after myself, a Norse sorceress (Kitta) after my wife, the human heroine of Troll Tale (Chika) after my granddaughter, and her brother (Kali) after my grandson. To create the portrait of the Hairyyeti, the face of my son was blended with a yeti face created by Garner Holt Productions (Project Yeti).
